Mish Mash - mixing it up every month at KRO Bar

KRO Bar is now home to Mish Mash, a weird and wonderful collection of comedy, poetry, music, burlesque and drag kings and queens.

On the last Friday of every month the alternative cabaret show will be held together by radio presenter Chris Holliday at the original KRO bar from 8pm til late. £5 students/£6 non students on the door.

Gerry Potter – poet, playwright, director, actor and successful regeneration of gay scouse socialist transvestite icon Chloe Poems. Gerry is a brilliantly outrageous performer who will knock your socks off whilst ingeniously keeping your shoes on! He will get you thinking, laughing and ready to overthrow the shackles of your former self…. or at least get some new underwear.

Taylor and the Mason are an acoustic duo based in Manchester, made up of singer-songwriters Sally Mason and Becky Taylor. They have been gigging in and around Manchester pedalling their own brand of folky-acoustic-pop type music for two years and they rock! Get dancing and get drinking from their happy cup of harmony. What are you waiting for….?

There will be sketches, dancing, and comedy from actor Zoe Iqbal, plus inter-galactic première of world famous nutcase Professor Academicals (aka Julia Brosnan).

Pump up the volume, lock your grandma in a cupboard, leave your slippers on a low heat and COME ON DOWN!
