During the day you can relax in our grade II listed building or large decked beer garden. Whether it be a chat over coffee and cake, a few afternoon drinks or a great lunch chosen from our extensive menu. Breakfast is served 8.30am till 3pm in the week, 10.30 till 3pm on a weekend. Our main menu is served from 11.30am.
During the evening and into the night krobar comes alive with regular band nights and club nights. Pre parties and after parties for academy gigs are also a regular feature. Check out the latest events in our promotions section. We also offer a large selection of continental beers and local guest ales. You can eat from our full menu until 9pm, a great way to start your night before going to your favourite gig.

Our building lends itself to all occasions. The bar is often used for graduate functions but is also perfect for birthday parties and presentations on any kind. The upstairs rooms can be adapted to cater for buffets and birthdays as well as formal presentations.
KroBar has a large garden area at the rear of the building, the decking and tasteful furniture make it perfect for formal events as well as BBQ’s and themed parties. Our conservatory, which can be hired separately or as part of the garden, can be opened out fully making a huge amount of space available for your event. Outdoor heaters and glass sheltering enable us to provide outdoor space even when the weather isn’t perfect. A Plan of KroBar is available.
